Our enormous thanks to Fares4Free and the Veterans Foundation

Fares4Free have been delighted to be supporting Kat, a veteran of the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, and her husband Mick over the past year. We were extremely humbled when they recently sent Colleen, our Engagement Support Officer, a photo from their holidays along with a lovely thank you message, asking us to post it as a blog on our website.

“Our journey is progressing. It’s been 1 year since I left hospital on 12^th July 2023. Guillian Barres is an illness/syndrome I am now trying to live with, and we are adapating our lifestyle so that we can ‘live rather than exist’. Our enormous thanks to Fares4Free for the invaluable service offered to veterans. Their compassion and patience given without question helped me build confidence to go out with my steadfast husband Mick by my side. Thank you Colleen for your friendship throughout this last year.
