Rab wins Silver at ABF Scottish Veteran Awards

"We are delighted to announce that Rab Conquer, our Fares4Free Volunteer Outreach Support Driver for the Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders area came in second place, in a highly competitive category, at this year’s Scottish Veterans Awards. There were 100's of applications this year, and the most received for the awards to date, so for Rab to win Silver is an incredible achievement."

"Over the past 12 months Rab has completed 186 trips for Fares4Free, driven over 1000 miles, supported 165 veterans and their family members and provided over 400 incidences of support. An absolutely amazing achievement that is testament to Rab's personal drive and commitment to supporting the veteran and armed forces community."

"Rab like many veterans is extremely humble but his strength of character really is remarkable, as he continues to share his own personal battles with PTSD to ensure others not only attend vital mental health appointments themselves but continue and complete treatment plans especially when they become difficult."
