Ann and Andy Sweeney of Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, are both valiantly participating in this years Glasgow Kilt Walk on Sunday 28 April 2024 to raise funds for Fares4Free. Supporting the Armed Forces Community across Scotland is something that Ann and Andy have always been passionate about, with particular emphasis on mental health, and supporting veterans and their family members who are suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or associated anxiety.
Ann is an extremely active and passionate member of her local community with a real heart of gold for helping others. As an advocate and spokeswoman for mental health herself we could not be happier to have her on board as part of the Fares4Free Fundraising Team. If you can spare a few pounds and would like to sponsor Ann and help support veterans and their families in your local community then please click here to sponsor Ann today.
Andy is also an avid supporter of giving back to his local community and has been a passionate supporter of the UK Armed Forces his whole life. Recognising the importance of supporting those who have served their country, especially those suffering from PTSD, Andy continues to dedicate time and effort wherever he can advocating for mental health awareness and support. To sponsor Andy and help support veterans and their families in your local community, and also help him in his battle of raising more money than his wife, then please click here to sponsor Andy today.
