Fares4Free and Legion Scotland continue to showcase their strong working relationship, this time under the umbrella of the Unforgotten Forces Consortium. Fares4Free provided another 'More Than A Journey' experience for 101-year-old, Royal Air Force Veteran Cathy, who this evening is delighted to attend the Legion Scotland Annual Conference Dinner at The George Hotel in Perth, as a guest speaker.
Cathy was driven this evening by Leon, the Fares4Free Operations Manager, who is also a Royal Air Force Veteran himself, and the RAF bond was clear to see. Arriving exactly on time (typical of the RAF) into Perth, Cathy was welcomed by Brian Ward and Tam Douglas of Legion Scotland, who will be hosting Cathy and her daughter Catherine for the evening.
Trips like these are only made possible due to the continued funding provided by the Unforgotten Forces, a consortium of armed forces and civilian charities working together to deliver high quality and joined-up support that boosts the health and wellbeing of veterans in Scotland age 60 and older.
